The dynamic Chairperson of the Gurukul Group of Schools, Ms. Mathur has been associated with the field of education for over 40 years in various capacities—as a teacher, administrator, and Founder Principal of Gurukul Preschool.

In alignment with NEP 2020, Gurukul places strong emphasis on building
Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) in the early years. Through
age-appropriate, play-based and structured learning experiences,
children gradually develop early reading readiness, vocabulary,
listening and speaking skills, number sense, counting, patterns, shapes,
and logical thinking.
Using building blocks, beads, puzzles, manipulatives, and technologically enhanced materials, children connect concepts with hands-on experiences, fostering concept clarity, confidence, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Through picture reading,mime, stories, audio-visual aids, objects, excursions, and fun-filled activities. Children are motivated to observe, question,speak, repeat, imitate, and express themselves in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
Language and communication skills (listening, speaking, early phonics)
We prepare children for reading and writing through early letter and tracing activities.
Children learn early math skills through counting, recognizing patterns, exploring shapes, and making simple comparisons.
Children develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills through fun activities that encourage reasoning and creativity.
At Gurukul Kids premises are fully secured with monitored entry and exit points and CCTV surveillance in important areas. Classrooms, play zones, and learning spaces are designed using child-safe furniture and equipment to prevent accidents and ensure comfort.
The safety of children is maintained through constant supervision by trained and responsible staff members. All teachers and support staff undergo proper verification and safety training. Children remain under adult supervision during classroom learning, activities, and playtime, ensuring their security.
We maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the campus with regularly sanitized classrooms, safe drinking water, and clean washrooms. First-aid and fire safety measures are in place, and our staff is trained to respond quickly in emergencies.
